BOOK CONDITION
At Books4Cubs, we take pride in offering high-quality preloved books that are carefully
checked before being listed. Since these books have been previously owned, some may show
signs of use, but most are in great condition.
To help you make an informed choice, we categorize our books as follows:
Excellent
Barely used or almost identical to a brand-new book, with no noticeable signs of wear.
Very Good

Lightly used books with minimal wear, such as a slight corner bend, faint crease, or a

name written inside.
Good

Gently used books with some signs of use, such as faded covers, minor folds, or a few

pages with light marks, but fully readable and well-maintained.
Fair

Clearly used books with visible wear like taped pages, some staining, a few stickers missing, or light coloring inside. These books are still completely readable and functional.
Important Notes for Buyers
No Unreadable or Severely Damaged Books

We do not list books that are missing pages, have major tears affecting readability, or are in poor condition.
Minor Wear is Expected in Preloved Books
Most of our books are in great condition, but may have minor imperfections, such as:

Corner bends, faded/dull covers, or slightly folded pages

Name written inside, dried staining, or old editions with yellowed pages

Minor creases or mild discoloration due to age
We do not individually mention these minor defects unless they are more significant.

Major Damages are Always Mentioned

If a book has missing flaps, torn pages, a damaged spine, multiple stickers missing, or coloring inside, we will mention it in the description before selling.
Sound Books

All sound books are tested before listing and shipping.

A working video is provided for reference.

If a sound book does not work upon arrival, try changing the batteries—this fixes most issues.

Activity, Sticker, Puzzle, and Search-and-Find Books

Some activity books may have been partially used by previous owners.
